This second volume of the Catalog of old Turkish documents in the Berlin Turfan collection includes 419 catalog entries describing 484 fragments. It is made up of mostly unpublished material from the period of the West Uighur Kingdom and the Mongol period, i.e. from the 9th to 14th Centuries CE, including documents from the Berlin collection, the originals of which were lost by war. Also taken into account are content-relevant Old Turkish cursive inscriptions on Chinese, central Iranian, and Syrian fragments, as well as relevant pieces (paper documents, inscriptions on wood objects) of the Turfan collection at the Museum of Asian Art. The cataloging of the documents is thus complete. Overall concordance, the ordering criteria of which corresponds to the first volume, complete this catalog. German text.
